Working in partnership with our friends at Nutcellars, Malawi Federation of Co-operatives (MAFECO) and, co-operative farmers through Our Malawi Partnership, we’re now able to announce the world’s first Fairtrade certified macadamia nut product.
This exciting development highlights our joint dedication to ethical sourcing, our commitment to Malawi and our co-operative approach to all we do. It also builds on the momentum set by Our Malawi Partnership as we celebrate our second year.
Our macadamia Fairtrade certification is testimony to the power of Co-op principle 6 – co-ops supporting co-ops.
We continue to campaign for producers and farmers to receive a fair deal for their products, empowering them to sustainably improve their trading opportunities and livelihoods.
The new Fairtrade macadamia nuts will join the range in support of Our Malawi Partnership.
